We run a monthly online survey panel that any member of the South Yorkshire public can join, giving you the opportunity to regularly feedback your views on policing in South Yorkshire.

By agreeing to take part in the COP Panel you will receive regular emails (no more than once a month) asking you to complete a small online survey about your views on South Yorkshire Police. We will use this information to determine policing priorities and evaluate the best methods of communicating with the public, we will also regularly feedback the results from consultation with COP Panel members.

The Police Authority has a statutory duty to consult with members of the public on their views about policing and are constantly looking at new ways to gather opinions on policing in South Yorkshire. If you wish to take part in this panel then please send an email with ‘COP’ in the beginning of the subject field, stating your wish to be included in the distribution list to haveyoursay@syjs.gov.uk . In addition, if you know of anyone else who you think would be interested in joining the panel then please direct them towards this page.
