Our Corporate Strategy and Business Plan 2010-13 sets out in one place our focus and priorities to 2013. It also introduces and explains our strategic objectives:

1. To enable our customers to fulfil all their roles and statutory responsibilities.
2. To provide effective and proactive support for all of our customers in their business affairs.
3. To develop the Joint Secretariat’s role and services at the Sub Regional and Regional levels for Joint Authorities and new customers.
4. To ensure that the concepts of Economy, Efficiency, Effectiveness and Equity are integral to the way the Joint Secretariat carries out its functions.

This document seeks to provide all our stakeholders with a high level view of our strategic thinking. In preparing this strategy we have tried to synthesise what the organisation’s strengths and weaknesses, and the environment’s opportunities and threats might mean for the Joint Secretariat over the next three years. We have tried to be creative and divergent in our thinking, rather than be restricted by what has gone before.
